RECUPERATION AND REHABILITATION

RECUPERATION AND REHABILITATION

“The will must be stronger than the skill.” – Mohammed Ali

iSPARR’s unique system has been proven to benefit patients recovering from accidents or illnesses, particularly when access to exercise or physical activity is a challenging factor.

Maintaining strength, stamina and dexterity are essential elements of the recuperative process and the iSPARR system enables patients to engage in activities that improve their health outcomes at all levels.

The system has proven to be highly effective in the treatment of ‘stroke’ patients and those with ‘Parkinson’s’ disease.

iSPARR provides opportunities for patients to access exercise, movement, and cognitive stimulation, all within the same wellness system.

‘When working with people either able-bodied or disabled, I have found the introduction of the iSPARR system to be second to none in the overall development of all the boxers throughout the club.  Both novice and those at an elite level find the iSPARR to be extremely challenging and have reported that it has been the best workout that they have ever experienced.’ – Dennis Stinchcombe MBE (September  2022)

Dennis Stinchcombe has many years’ experience working within the Amateur Boxing Association of England and has recently created non-contact boxing sessions for people with ‘Parkinson’s’ and other Neurological medical problems. This pioneering programme has been endorsed by England Boxing and Parkinson’s UK, creating around 20 clubs around the country. Dennis’s own club is registered as a Regional Disability Hub.
